Andrew handles a broad range of intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent law.

Andrew primarily handles patent prosecution matters in the mechanical, electrical, and medical fields in a variety of technology areas, including consumer products, medical devices, semiconductors, and software and business methods.  Andrew counsels clients throughout the entire patent prosecution process, beginning with inventor interviews all the way through patent grant and post-grant IPR proceedings, for both large corporations and sole inventors.

In patent litigation matters, Andrew has provided technical support and handled various aspects of a patent infringement cases, including pleadings/motions, infringement and invalidity contentions, claim construction, expert discovery and reports, and trial preparation. Andrew has litigated in well-known venues for patent cases, including the Eastern District of Texas.

In addition to patent prosecution and litigation, Andrew’s practice focuses on patent freedom-to-operate opinions and analysis of commercial transactions involving IP, including valuing IP portfolios.

Andrew also has experience in design patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and domain maintenance and UDRP proceedings.

Prior to working for FisherBroyles, Andrew worked for the international law firm of Baker McKenzie from 2010 until 2016.
