The Political Law Group advises corporations, political action committees (PACs), elected officials, candidates, political parties and lobbyists on federal and state laws regulating government contracting and ethics, lobbying, campaign finance and elections.  In addition to providing compliance counseling, the group defends clients in contested cases and enforcement actions before the State Ethics Commission, Board of Elections, and the Federal Election Commission (FEC).  The Group also engages in litigation related to political law matters.  Laws relevant to this practice group include the Ethics in Government Act; the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA), as amended by the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA); and the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA), as amended by the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act (HLOGA).
