Bucking the trend, FisherBroyles thrives during the pandemic. Firm welcomes eight new Partners for a total of 23 new Partners so far in 2020

(Washington, D.C.—May 6, 2020)— FisherBroyles, LLP, the first and largest distributed law firm in the world, is pleased to announce that eight new partners have joined its unique Law Firm 2.0® model expanding the Firm’s litigation, corporate, intellectual property, and tax practices. The majority of the Partners joining FisherBroyles are from Am Law 100 firms, signaling a clear vote of confidence in FisherBroyles’ business model compared to that of old law firms.

Matthew DeFrancesco, Chris Perque, Michael Micheli, and Bradley Bush are joining the litigation department. Gal N. Kaufman and Timothy McFadden are the latest additions to the corporate department, while Charles Hagadorn III joins the intellectual property department, and Stuart Anolik joins the tax practice group.

Litigation Department

Matthew DeFrancesco joins FisherBroyles in New York, from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. He was previously at Troutman Sanders LLP. His practice includes matters involving competition law, government investigations, securities, and commercial litigation.

Chris Perque, who has joined the Firm in Houston, was previously a partner at Adams and Reese. He has extensive experience with patent, trade secret, and technology-related litigation, and is licensed to practice in Texas, California, Louisiana, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Michael Micheli has come to FisherBroyles from Micheli Baldwin Mortimer McLendon & Whitacre, LLP. He joins the Firm in Columbus, where he brings over three decades of litigation experience, having provided defense counsel for both physicians and hospitals throughout his career.

Bradley Bush joins the Firm in Austin from Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP. An experienced litigator, his practice area covers several fields, including business and commercial matters, personal injury, construction, medical malpractice, and different types of liability.

Corporate Department

Gal N. Kaufman joins FisherBroyles in Washington, D.C. from Holland & Knight LLP. Licensed in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, Mr. Kaufman’s practice includes handling a number of private client services matters, including sophisticated tax analysis and planning, and all aspects of captive insurance.

Timothy McFadden joins the Firm in Chicago from Polsinelli PC. Licensed in Illinois and Missouri, he works on a variety of matters for both private and public companies, such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital, and securities. He brings with him three decades of transactional experience.

Stuart Anolik joins the Firm in Washington, D.C. Admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, Mr. Anolik handles corporate tax matters, with a focus on both international tax and risk mitigation strategies.

Intellectual Property Department

Charles Hagadorn joins FisherBroyles in Seattle, from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He was previously at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner. His practice involves patent preparation and prosecution, as well as counseling. Mr. Hagadorn is licensed to practice in Washington, Georgia, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
