(Atlanta, GA – January 12, 2021)—FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce its client, Motion Array – a leading motion graphics company – has been acquired by Artlist, a portfolio company of global investment firm KKR, for $65 million.
FisherBroyles served as counsel to Motion Array, and the team was led by M&A partners Carl Johnston and Jeremy Cnudde. Kimberly Booher advised on GDPR and privacy issues, and Jonathan Cain advised on export compliance matters.
Motion Array, based in Atlanta, Georgia, provides a comprehensive subscription-based creative marketplace and technology solution for video creators, delivering high-quality digital media at an affordable price. Artlist, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a leading digital content licensing provider offering streamlined, high-quality creative assets for filmmakers and video creators.
Motion Array’s video capabilities, technology tools and versatile video template options, will allow Artlist to expand its digital stock media portfolio for video creators and filmmakers. Through the acquisition, Artlist will reach over six million users worldwide and grow its catalog by over half a million stock assets.
