Mr. Pey represented the makers of Roquefort cheese as they try to convince the US Trade Representative to not select them for retaliatory tariffs in the beef hormone dispute. “It is going to hurt the small mom-and-pop specialty cheese shops,” said Chris Pey, a lawyer who represents the cheese group Confédération Générale de Roquefort. “It could potentially double the prices of cheese that they have to get from their suppliers.”
