Jack joins the Firm from King & Wood Mallesons where he represented companies at various stages of their lifecycles, from Series A through to IPO, as well as founders, venture capital, private equity and strategic investors. He has particular expertise in cross-border investment and M&A, venture capital and capital markets deals between Asia, Europe, and the US.

Jack’s experience spans the entire tech and innovation sector and in recent years, he has developed a focus on HealthTech, Life Sciences and EdTech. He is particularly active in the UK’s Cambridge, Oxford and London “tech triangle”, the Greater Bay Area of China and the ASEAN innovation ecosystem.

Earlier in his career, Jack worked both at Slaughter and May and Simmons & Simmons in London and Hong Kong where he gained experience in large-cap M&A, public takeovers, privatizations and capital markets, including advising on a number of Am Law and IFLR award-winning transactions. He maintains an active capital markets practice focusing on tech and life sciences listings on HKSE, LSE and NASDAQ.

Jack earned an LL.B. from the University of Nottingham and an LL.M. from Australian National University and is dual qualified in English and Hong Kong law. Jack speaks Mandarin and Cantonese and is experienced in navigating the nuances that arise on deals with Asian counterparties.

He is a Member of the Royal Society for Public Health, a Licentiate of the Institute of Biomedical Science and has also served as a Committee member of the Hong Kong Association and Society’s Business Network in London.

Michael Pierson, Managing Partner of the Firm’s Global Corporate practice, said:

Jack Tsang said:

“I am delighted to join at a time when FisherBroyles is growing its London offering and exploring expansion in Asia. I am looking forward to making use of my experience and expertise to help develop and support the further growth of the links between the UK and Asian tech and life sciences ecosystems – one which I believe will become ever more important in the years to come post-Brexit.”
