(Atlanta, GA—May 18, 2020)— FisherBroyles, LLP, the world’s first and largest distributed law firm, is pleased to announce that it has added three new Partners to its unique Law Firm 2.0® model. Scott P. Brinkerhoff is joining the litigation department, Tiffany N. Comprés is joining the international disputes practice, and Richard Nordgren is joining the intellectual property department. The attorneys come to FisherBroyles from diverse and high-profile backgrounds, after having spent time at both Am Law 100 firms and S&P 500 companies.
Mr. Brinkerhoff joins the Firm in Dallas from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. He practices a broad spectrum of matters, including business litigation, regulatory compliance, and insurance defense. He also provides counsel on medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, and personal injury. In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Brinkerhoff dedicates his time to a number of pro bono efforts. Mr. Brinkerhoff received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, earned both his MBA and JD from Southern Methodist University, and is also certified by the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation at a Level 3 of Korean Proficiency.
Ms. Comprés joins the Firm in Miami. Previously a partner at Shutts & Bowen LLP, she also practiced at Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, PA and Proskauer Rose LLP. Ms. Comprés practices international arbitration and litigation, and handles cases in a wide range of sectors, including international agriculture, food, energy, logistics, and distributions. She also serves as an arbitrator in international arbitrations. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Ms. Comprés is one of the 51 attorneys who is board-certified in International Law by The Florida Bar. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, JD from Georgetown University Law Center, LLM in Law and Economic Globalisation from Université de Paris I – Sorbonne, and an LLM in International Law from Sciences Po.
Mr. Nordgren joins the Firm in Salt Lake City. Before coming to FisherBroyles, he was Senior Corporate Counsel at Symantec and Senior IP Counsel at Broadcom. In his practice, Mr. Nordgren provides counsel on patent preparation and prosecution and patent portfolio management. He also handles trademark prosecution, product legal and licensing support, and open source legal compliance. For the past two years, he was named Utah Legal Elite in 2019 and 2020 by Utah Business magazine. Mr. Nordgren earned his bachelor’s degree from Westminster College and his JD from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
