Amy explains that because most employees of private employers are employed “at will,” and subject to certain exceptions, any wrongful termination lawsuits are likely to be unsuccessful. Additionally, Amy explained that employers’ social media policies must be clear, specific, and evenly and consistently enforced in order to mitigate risk of a discrimination claim.
