Employment Partner joins the Firm from Addleshaw Goddard

(London – September 16, 2020)—FisherBroyles, LLP, the first and largest distributed law firm in the world, is pleased to welcome Jamie Hamnett, who has joined the Firm in London. Jamie joins from Addleshaw Goddard LLP.

At AG, Jamie was a member of the Corporate and Commercial Division Executive Team and Head of the Employment team in Manchester – which has been shortlisted for regional employment team of the year three times in the past four years.

Jamie joins as the Firm continues increasing its headcount in the U.S. and U.K. and explores expansion into the Middle East and Asia. Recently, the Firm announced the appointment of dozens of new partners to its U.S. team, the majority of which joined from Am Law 100 firms, and the expansion of its offering in London.

Jamie’s practice covers the full spectrum of employment law and he advises diverse clients, from UK and US listed businesses to smaller organisations and senior executives.

Jamie has a strong practice in business restructuring, redundancy and managing organisational change and is a market-leading advisor on business protection work – restrictive covenants, team moves and the protection of confidential information.

He is also well regarded as a high stakes disputes expert and is sought out by clients for his strategic approach, to advise on significant litigation in the Employment Tribunal and the High Court.  He also has extensive boardroom experience, including handling exits in a listed environment, those within PE-backed private companies, and those with overlapping incentives issues.

Jamie received his BSc from Loughborough University and his LPC from Staffordshire University.
