FisherBroyles Welcomes Maryam Meseha

(Princeton, New Jersey – April 20, 2022) – FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce Maryam Meseha has joined the Firm’s growing Cyber-Risk, Privacy & Data Security practice group.

An experienced business, commercial and complex litigator, Maryam was the former co-chair of the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy and Crisis & Risk Management practice groups at a large regional law firm.

Based out of FisherBroyles’ Princeton, New York City and Charlotte offices, Maryam will continue to expand the Firm’s cyber and data privacy offerings in those markets. Her practice focuses on counseling clients on their data privacy obligations, developing internal data privacy management systems and risk mitigation strategies.

Maryam leads breach response investigations and advises on the nature of cyber occurrences, scope of data exfiltration, obligations to notify impacted consumers and/or state and federal government regulators, plus contractual obligations to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.

Maryam is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) under the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She also serves as Co-Chair of the Raleigh/Durham IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapter.

Maryam is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York and North Carolina and has been recognized as a New Jersey Rising Star since 2018. Maryam received her J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and her B.S. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University.
