Washington, DC – June 21, 2022 – FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew M. May has joined the firm as a Partner.

Matt joins the Firm’s Litigation Department as a Partner in the Commercial Litigation practice.  An experienced litigator and trial lawyer, Matt previously practiced at Miles & Stockbridge, P.C. with the firm’s Commercial & Business Litigation practice group.

Based in Washington, DC and Chicago, Matt has represented clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses and individuals in forums and jurisdictions, across the country.  Matt has extensive experience with various complex commercial litigation matters, such as business torts, trade secrets, and shareholder disputes, as well as land use, real estate, and government contracting matters.  Matt brings a depth of experience at both the trial and appellate levels.

Matt is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Matt was recognized by ‘Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch’ in the area of Commercial Litigation in Maryland in 2021 and 2022.  He graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School and earned a B.A. from Washington & Lee University.
