(Miami, Florida – November 15, 2021)– FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce Yine Rodríguez Pérez has joined the Firm in Miami, as a partner.

Ms. Rodriguez assists clients, including states and state-owned entities, on complex international arbitrations primarily in Latin America. Those matters include representing clients’ interests before the International Chamber of Commerce, the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, and post-arbitration proceedings in federal court in the U.S.

Ms. Rodriguez also represents private companies with interests in the U.S. and abroad, primarily in the energy industry.

Ms. Rodriguez is heavily involved with The Florida Bar and, in her role as Chair of the Foreign Legal Consultants Committee, she drafted the amendments to Chapter 16 of The Florida Bar Rules, which regulates the certification of foreign lawyers as foreign legal consultants.

As a native Spanish speaker and a licensed Spanish and Florida attorney, Ms. Rodriguez routinely practices in English and Spanish in formal and informal legal writing. Ms. Rodriguez has travelled extensively throughout Latin America to represent her clients, allowing her to understand and be familiar with the traditions, customs, and political landscape of that region.

Joel M. Ferdinand, Global General Counsel and Managing Partner of Litigation, said:

“The addition to Yine to our Miami office adds to our depth in core strategic areas. The Firm’s clients will benefit from having a stronger presence in the Latin American market, which is an area targeted for growth by our Firm.”

Yine Rodríguez Pérez said:

“I am delighted to join FisherBroyles. I was naturally attracted to the Firm’s unique business model and calibre of attorneys across a broad range of practice areas, along with its AmLaw 200 ranking. I look forward to being able to serve my clients in a more efficient manner and benefit from the Firm’s collegial culture.”
