Leading Capital Markets Partner and Clifford Chance Veteran, Neil Hamilton, Joins FisherBroyles in London.

(London – May 27, 2021)—FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce Neil Hamilton has joined the Firm as a partner.

Neil is a senior Capital Markets lawyer and joins the Firm from CMS LLP where he was a partner.

Neil has over 25 years’ experience in securitisation and structured finance and is recognised as a Leading Lawyer in IFLR1000 and as a Leading Individual for Structured Products and Securitisation in Legal 500.

Neil acts for arrangers, originators, collateral managers, and servicers with vast experience in a variety of securitisation asset classes, including CLOs, auto loans, RMBS and trade receivables. He also advises on structured products such as repackagings and total return swaps. He is a regular presenter and panellist at securitisation and CLO conferences in the UK and Europe.

Neil was previously a partner at Clifford Chance LLP in London for 12 years and a partner at both Paul Hastings and Jones Day in London.

Amongst his extensive experiences, Neil acted for Sequoia Investment Management as an investment adviser to a US$225m CLO of infrastructure debt; acted for Fidelity on the acquisition of the CLO business of MeDirect Bank and acted on the establishment of Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Limited (now a FTSE 250 listed company) and subsequent capital raisings.

Neil holds an LLB (Hons) from The University of Auckland and a Ph.D. in Law from Cambridge University.
