Alison Currie is a partner in FisherBroyles’ Atlanta office. Ms. Currie concentrates her practice on the defense of physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, dentists, physical therapists, and other medical providers in medical malpractice litigation, privileging matters, and state composite board hearings. Ms. Currie also defends correctional medicine providers in federal § 1983 civil rights actions. Additionally, Ms. Currie represents ERISA healthcare plans, their fiduciaries, and plan participants in healthcare reimbursement disputes.
In law school, Ms. Currie was the winner of the University of Georgia’s Talmadge Moot Court Competition and the winner of Georgia’s Intrastate Moot Court Competition (overall winner and “Best Brief”). In private practice, Ms. Currie has been selected by her peers as a Georgia Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2020 and 2021, a recognition earned by fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
