Alison Currie is a partner in FisherBroyles’ Atlanta office. Ms. Currie defends physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, dentists, physical therapists, and other medical providers in medical malpractice cases. Ms. Currie also defends correctional medicine providers in § 1983 civil rights actions.
Additionally, Ms. Currie represents ERISA healthcare plans, their fiduciaries, and plan participants in healthcare reimbursement disputes. Ms. Currie represents medical providers in privileging matters and state composite board hearings. She also defends general civil liability claims and engages in other civil litigation.
Ms. Currie was selected as a 2019 Georgia Superlawyers “Rising Star,” a recognition earned by only 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state. In law school, Ms. Currie was the winner of the 2009 Intrastate Moot Court Competition, as well as winner of that competition’s “Best Brief” award. She was also the winner of the University of Georgia’s 2008 Talmadge Moot Court Competition.
