Ms. Alikin is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Banking and Financial Services practices.
Ms. Alikin represents commercial banks and other institutional lenders in real estate transactions involving multifamily affordable housing developments financed with low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds. Throughout her career, she has handled the documentation, due diligence, and negotiation for hundreds of construction and permanent loan transactions. Among such transactions, Ms. Alikin represented Bank of America in the debt and equity financing of the privatization of the San Francisco Housing Authority public housing portfolio, the largest transaction of its type in California history.
Ms. Alikin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
