Dr. Joseph P. Pieroni combines extensive academic training and experience with more than twenty years of practice in intellectual property law. Joe has experience as a trusted legal advisor and practitioner in the areas of patent prosecution and patent litigation, both in law firms and in the corporate in-house counsel setting. His education includes a Ph.D. in pharmacology (focusing on renal prostaglandins), and postdoctoral fellowships studying the neurobiological regulation of learning and memory (U. Texas Medical School at Houston) and cellular signaling mechanisms (Mount Sinai School of Medicine). Joe’s in-depth studies in a broad spectrum of research fields provides an exceptional skill set for his practice of patent law.
Joe’s practice focuses on patent preparation, prosecution, and counseling in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical and biological sciences, and medical technologies.
