Ms. Huffstetler concentrates her practice in Intellectual Property, specifically the prosecution of domestic and foreign patents and trademarks. She is a Registered Patent Attorney and a former Patent Examiner with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. She specializes in the procurement of patent and trademark protection, enforcement of patents and trademarks, and defense of third-party patents and trademarks. Ms. Huffstetler has significant experience with design patents and utility patents in the medical device, mechanical, electromechanical, textile, and chemical technologies. Her practice includes client counseling in all areas of intellectual property including drafting patentability opinions, trademark registrability opinions, and licensing and business agreements. Additionally, she is experienced in pre-litigation counseling including validity, non-infringement, and design around opinions. Ms. Huffstetler has worked with clients of varying sizes, from large corporations to start-ups, and with clients in diverse technological fields.
