Mr. Broussard has broad corporate legal experience primarily in the areas of commercial contracts, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate compliance, advising executives and international project development. Prior to joining FisherBroyles, Mr. Broussard practiced law for Celanese Corporation, a Fortune 500 chemical company, where he held a variety of positions including General Counsel Asia Pacific. He worked with a team to establish a local chemical business in China for Celanese and established, and led, Celanese’s Asia legal and corporate development departments.
After retiring from Celanese, Mr. Broussard established a business development consulting company that focused on assisting Asian companies in establishing chemical or related businesses in the U.S. Over the years, Mr. Broussard has negotiated many international deals in the U.S., Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia.
More specifically, Mr. Broussard has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of complex operating contracts such as industrial gas contracts, long-term supply contracts, utility contracts, government contracts, licensing agreements and consulting agreements. At FisherBroyles, Mr. Broussard continues to provide these services as well as assist clients with other compliance issues.
