Mr. Maddox has represented various types of clients ranging from start-up companies and high net worth individuals to large multinational corporations and financial institutions.

Mr. Maddox focuses on complex financial and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, technology transactions and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Maddox’s mergers and acquisitions practice includes structuring and financing acquisitions, divestitures and mergers for public and privately owned companies. He has negotiated and drafted asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, merger agreements, shareholder agreements, and a wide variety of ancillary and supporting documents.

Mr. Maddox has also drafted and negotiated a wide variety of complex technology, service and outsourcing contracts in multiple industries where his clients operate including master services agreements, licensing and re-seller agreements, private label agreements, bill payment services agreements, cloud services agreements and source code escrow agreements.  Additionally, Mr. Maddox is well versed in corporate formation and corporate governance issues.

Mr. Maddox’s commercial real estate practice includes negotiating, structuring and financing the acquisition and sale of various types of commercial real estate properties.  He has extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan and security documents, and ancillary supporting documentation.
