Mr. Maddox has represented various types of clients ranging from start-up companies and high net worth individuals to large multinational corporations and financial institutions.

Primarily, Mr. Maddox focuses on complex financial and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Maddox’s mergers and acquisitions practice includes structuring and financing acquisitions, divestitures and mergers for public and privately owned companies. He has negotiated and drafted asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, merger agreements, shareholder agreements, and a wide variety of ancillary and supporting documents. Mr. Maddox has also drafted and negotiated a wide variety of corporate contracts in multiple industries where his clients operate, and is well versed in corporate formation and corporate governance issues.

Mr. Maddox’s commercial real estate practice includes negotiating, structuring and financing the acquisition and sale of various types of commercial real estate properties. He has extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale documents, loan and security documents, and ancillary supporting documentation, related to such commercial real estate transactions.

Immediately prior to joining FisherBroyles, Mr. Maddox was a senior associate in the commercial transactions and corporate practice group at Busch White Norton, LLP as well as a research consultant for Emory University.

Mr. Maddox received his Juris Doctorate degree from Mercer University in 2009. Prior to receiving his JD, he received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business in 2006.

Mr. Maddox is admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia and is a member of the Business and Technology Law Sections of the State Bar of Georgia. He is also actively involved in local affairs and serves on the board advisory committee for the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation.
