FisherBroyles Welcomes Two New Partners

Los Angeles, CA – January 26, 2024 – FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Schaffer and Tony Bramian as Partners of the Firm, based in Los Angeles. Christopher and Tony will bolster FisherBroyles’ intellectual property, patent prosecution and technology licensing practices.

Christopher joins the Firm after 11 years at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, where he was a Partner. His practice covers IP counseling, patent prosecution, pre-litigation infringement and validity analyses, technology licensing and due diligence, with an emphasis on areas such as telecommunications, semiconductors, and software. Christopher has represented various companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to sole-proprietorships, leveraging his extensive practical engineering experience.

He was recognized as a San Diego “Rising Star” in 2022 and 2023 for Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers magazine. Christopher received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, has an M.S. in Materials Science from U.S.C., and has both an M.S and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Tony also joins FisherBroyles from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, where he was a Patent Attorney. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, patent-related pre-litigation, and infringement and validity analyses.

Earlier in his career, Tony held roles including Director of Corporate Patents at Infineon Technologies, and Executive Director of Intellectual Property at International Rectifier Corporation. He received his M.S. in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University and received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School.
