Charles (Chuck) Geitner is a Board Certified Business Litigation Specialist, which is the Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of an attorney’s competence and experience in business litigation matters.

He represents business clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes, class actions, and regulatory matters. His clients include auto retailers, banks, warranty companies, real estate developers, manufacturers, insurance agencies and professionals, medical equipment suppliers, e-commerce companies, and consulting firms.

Mr. Geitner advises and assists businesses in protecting their trademarks, service marks and trade secrets, and structures contracts with their employees who handle sensitive, confidential business information. He also litigates cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants under the Lanham Act, and for patent, copyright and trademark infringement.

Mr. Geitner defends professionals in the legal, insurance, and technology industries from officer and director liability, errors and omissions claims, and professional malpractice claims.

As counsel to publicly traded auto retail groups, and privately-owned auto dealerships, Mr. Geitner has developed a practice niche advising these businesses in regulatory and licensing compliance, sales and finance disclosure, leasing disclosure, sales and use tax audits, and franchise rights.  In addition, he litigates on their behalf in consumer protection disputes and class actions that are brought under TILA, DUTPA, FCRA, ECOA, FDCPA, the Federal Odometer Act, Magnuson-Moss warranty claims, and the Motor Vehicle Repair Act. Mr. Geitner also obtains financial recovery on behalf of his dealership clients in auction sales disputes, mechanics lien claims, title washing, and VIN cloning disputes.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Geitner worked for First Union National Bank (n/k/a Wells Fargo), where he was a bank manager and loan officer.

Mr. Geitner serves on the South Shore Chamber Economic Development Committee, the Florida Bar Consumer Protection Law Committee, and is a member of National Association of Dealer Counsel.
