Gene M. Burd said:

“I am excited to join FisherBroyles’s innovative LawFirm 2.0© platform. In addition to providing a versatile and flexible client-oriented infrastructure, the Firm brought together an impressive international contingent of prominent practitioners that provide services to a broad range of clients in a variety of industry sectors.”

He is familiar with the principles of establishing or defeating personal jurisdiction over foreign parties, securing stays of litigation based on international arbitration agreements, and applying the forum non conveniens.

Gene has authorized numerous publications on international legal issues and is a sought-after expert interviewed by U.S. and international media. He received his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and a Certificate in International Legal Studies from a McGeorge School of Law program in Salzburg, Austria led by the former Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Gene is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
