(New York – January 14, 2022) – FisherBroyles, LLP, is delighted to report consolidated fee revenue for 2021 of $136 million, which represents year-over-year growth of 29.8%.
The 2021 financial results set a new revenue record for the Firm and follow its May 2021 entry to the prestigious Am Law 200, the ranking of the largest 200 law firms based on revenue in the United States. The Firm believes it is likely to further ascend the Am Law 200 rankings following its 2021 financial performance, which it expects will further accelerate its US and global growth.
The stellar performance is a continued validation of the Firm’s business model by its clients. As an established model for the future, FisherBroyles is ideal for ambitious lawyers seeking unparalleled compensation and greater autonomy; and its clients benefit from greater efficiency and value.
Other highlights during the year included:
- Among the highest profits per billable hour of any Am Law 200 law firm. 84.29% of collected revenues paid to the partnership.
- The addition of 27 attorneys to the partnership from preeminent law firms.
- High-profile mandates such as:
- The representation of Ericsson against Samsung in multiple litigations at the International Trade Commission involving four investigations stemming from a dispute over infringement of patents for wireless communications devices and infrastructure.
- The representation of PFSWeb, Inc., a Nasdaq listed global commerce services company, in a $250 million carve-out sale of its LiveArea business unit to Merkle, Inc. (a Dentsu Group company).
James Fisher, Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of FisherBroyles, commented:
“2021 was an outstanding year for FisherBroyles. We have set new revenue records during a pandemic, with spectacular percentage increases, and were the first non-traditional law firm to enter the AmLaw 200 – which are the strongest possible validations of our distributed business model. We have also hired more talent from our Big Law competitors; as more and more elite lawyers realize that at FisherBroyles they can service clients more efficiently, at more reasonable rates, while earning significantly more money in a more lifestyle-friendly environment.
“I would like to thank all our partners for their incredible efforts and contributions. Their interests are uniquely aligned with our clients and the Firm, and we have a considerable head start on competitors adapting to a post-Covid distributed model. This leaves me very excited at what 2022 holds for FisherBroyles.”
