In this year’s ranking, Citywealth – the London-based, global publication dedicated to the needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their advisors – has recognized the Private Client lawyers who provided outstanding service and went above and beyond for their clients during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Top 100 Private Client Lawyers is an international listing that includes lawyers from the UK, Switzerland, Singapore, and Greece among others; nine of whom are US attorneys and only three of whom practice in New York.

This achievement builds on Sharon’s impressive industry recognition over the last 18 months. In January 2020, she was named by Citywealth as one of the six Elite New York Wealth Management Professionals – only three of whom were lawyers; and in March 2020, she won the Silver Award in the New York Powerwomen – Law category in Citywealth’s Powerwomen awards.

At FisherBroyles, Sharon concentrates her practice on domestic and international gift, estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and their families, including planning for owners of closely held businesses from inception through succession to future generations. She has a particular focus in the administration of large and complex estates and represents fiduciaries in estate and gift tax audits. Sharon also practices in the areas of art law and the law of charitable organizations.
