biography
Jackie (a/k/a “The Stickler”) joined the Office of General Counsel as Deputy General Counsel after serving for several years as Director of Conflicts. In that role, she modernized FisherBroyles’ conflicts resolution and lateral hire conflicts processes, and her relentless attention to detail and focus on professional responsibility issues have helped the firm identify and avoid risks.
Jackie’s past experience includes serving as the Chief Risk Management Officer at both Drinker Biddle & Reath and Gardner Carton & Douglas, where she worked with the Office of General Counsel on a variety of attorney ethics and professional responsibility issues. She has a breadth of experience, including building new business intake systems as well as managing the conflicts, litigation docket, and records services departments. She coordinated the firms’ annual professional liability insurance renewals and attorney licensing issues and was responsible for erecting and maintaining all ethical walls. Earlier in her career, Jackie worked in the conflicts departments at McDermott Will & Emery and Jenner & Block, and was also an attorney in private practice.
