Biography

Trish is a partner at FisherBroyles, LLP and Chair of the Firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group.

She has extensive experience representing borrowers and issuers across numerous industries, both domestic as well as international, in complex financing arrangements, including leveraged and investment grade financial institution and private credit borrowings, high-yield and investment grade public debt offerings, structured finance, and other capital markets transactions. In addition to traditional debt financings, she regularly advises clients with respect to syndicated and bilateral credit facilities in U.S. dollars as well as foreign currencies, commercial paper programs in U.S dollars and Euros, private placements, floor plan and supply chain financings, acquisition and other change of control financings, and warehouse lending facilities. She has represented corporate borrowers in work-out transactions both inside and outside of bankruptcy, including debtor-in-possession financing.

Trish’s practice encompasses all aspects of treasury activities, such as derivative transactions, including interest rate and currency exchange agreements, equity index, total return, credit default, commodity derivatives, and other hedging transactions, as well as liquidity and credit enhancement measures, factoring, notional pooling, sweep accounts, and letters of credit. She also advises on debt tender offers, redemptions and optimal debt repayment and debt incurrence strategies.

Trish also represents issuers and underwriters in asset securitization transactions. Financial assets have included vehicle loans and leases, agricultural and construction equipment chattel paper, credit card receivables, health care receivables, future cash flows, government contract receivables, Chapter 13 plans, delinquent credit card receivables, television revenues, trade receivables, lease receivables, mortgage loans, stranded utility costs, home equity loans and home equity lines of credit. As such, she structures transactions to comply with legal true sale and non-consolidation standards, working with the issuer’s auditors to accomplish the desired result.
