biography
Shannon Geier handles a variety of transactional matters and commercial disputes. Shannon has worked for large and mid-size law firms in Chicago and has managed her own boutique law firm. Shannon’s practice is focused on advising clients on commercial contract matters, contract and collection disputes, and general commercial litigation matters. She represents large and small companies, spanning a wide variety of industries. Shannon takes a practical and business-centered approach in advising clients based on balancing legal risks with business needs.
In addition to her transactional and commercial experience, Shannon has handled a wide variety of litigation matters, including class actions, in her representation of corporations, primarily in federal court. In addition, Shannon has advised clients on creating policies and procedures for the purpose of ensuring compliance with and avoiding exposure to liability pursuant to state and federal laws and regulations. Shannon’s wide experience in commercial and litigation matters gives her a unique ability to help clients with a variety of issues.
